Global Operations Strategy Analyst

This role is to support the development and execution of global strategies, including (1.) completing opportunity, gap analyses, process mapping, and requirement definitions for new and evolving initiatives, (2.) analyzing investments to support Aon’s strategic goals into a prioritized multi-year roadmap, (3.) establishing program governance, tracking, and reporting on progress, and supporting other execution activities, and (4.) tracking performance metrics along initiatives, resourcing, client service metrics for Human Capital operations. This role will collaborate across regional, SL, and functional SMEs to influence and drive progress against the global agenda.

This is a remote role with the flexibility to work virtually from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or United Kingdom

What the day will look like

  • Identify, evaluate, and support implementation of plans to grow, improve, standardize, and automate Human Capital operations. Including by:

  • Developing implementation plans

  • Identifying risks and key considerations

  • Supporting priority global initiative execution and change management

  • Creating management reporting, tracking progress, and gathering stakeholder feedback

  • Manage execution of strategic projects and key initiatives, including creating roadmaps, tracking dependencies, monitoring/tracking progress, etc.

  • Conducting detailed analyses across global topics

  • Helping manage Human Capital governance forums and councils – developing agendas, consolidating materials, tracking action items, etc.

  • Support the Human Capital Platform strategy by:

  • Conducting interviews and documenting feedback and consistent themes.

  • Identify and gather required data, interpret, and execute analyses.

  • Presenting findings and recommendations to team members.

  • Creating financial analyses and business cases to fund required investments.

  • Supporting roadmap prioritization, process mapping, and operating model design.

  • Preparing stakeholder communications

  • Tracking progress against agreed-upon milestones.

  • Track domain experience and share industry trends and research with team members.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • 5-7 years of work experience, preferably in an operations role, change management role, or continuous improvement role.

  • Foundational understanding of Human Capital (Health, Wealth, and/or Talent) including industry practices, competitors, and recent trends.

  • Proven experience in applying well-developed problem-solving skills (quantitative, conceptual, analytical).

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (particularly in Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Ability to identify opportunities for growth and subsequently take a leadership role in exploring new ideas.

  • Strong work ethic, open-mindedness, and willingness to learn.

  • Good organizational awareness.

  • Results-oriented and ability to work independently.

    Education

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a finance or business-related discipline.

    Pay Transparency

    The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $90,000-$117,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

    This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
