Job Overview
Bajo las instrucciones del Supervisor(a) o persona designada será responsable de realizar una variedad de tareas para garantizar las condiciones de nuestras facilidades, tanto en el interior y exterior de nuestros edificios.
A Day In The Life
Limpieza y mantenimiento general de edificios (interior y exterior), incluyendo estacionamientos.
Instalación y reemplazo losas, alfombras y tuberías de agua según sea necesario.
Manejar las reparaciones y mantenimiento de los sistemas de plomería de los edificios y baños.
Reparar y pintar puertas, ventanas, paredes, techos, y otras partes del edificio. Preparar las superficies a pintar lavándolas, rellenando agujeros y grietas con masilla y lijándolas hasta que queden lisas.
Operar herramientas y máquinas tales como: máquina de lavado a presión, taladros eléctricos, amoladoras y sierras.
Realizar tareas de soldadura menores utilizando herramientas y técnicas adecuadas, asegurando uniones fuertes y precisas en componentes metálicos.
Medir, cortar e instalar paneles de yeso (“Gypsum Board”) para paredes y techos, asegurando alineación y estabilidad.
Realizar mantenimientos preventivos para los extintores, limpieza de techos, ductos, desagües y cualquier otro trabajo de menor riesgo de seguridad.
What will help you thrive in this role?
Diploma de escuela Superior o su equivalente; La certificación profesional en soldadura o un campo relacionado es requerida.
Experiencia previa como “Handyperson”, con habilidades específicas en pintura, soldadura e instalación de placas de yeso (“Gypsum Board”).
Competente en el uso de herramientas y equipos necesarios para soldar, cortar, dar forma e instalar paneles de yeso.
Capacidad para trabajar en diversos ambientes en interiores y exteriores.
Capacidad para realizar tareas físicas y levantar objetos pesados (no más de 35 libras).
Excelentes habilidades para resolver problemas y atención al detalle.
Conocimiento en el uso de equipo básico, tales como taladros, sierras de mano, equipo de lavado a presión y otros equipos o herramientas requeridos.
