Position Details:

• Location: Onsite (Clearwater)

• Status: Full time

• Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

• Days: Monday through Friday

This Financial Assistance Caseworker opportunity is a full-time position. This position requires on-site work in Clearwater, FL.

Responsibilities:

The Financial Assistance Caseworker is responsible for identifying patients who may be eligible for financial and social assistance from various public agencies by assessing their financial and social situation, acting as a liaison between the patient, the family and public agencies, and documenting the assessment and approvals.

Education

• Required High School or equivalent

Experience

• Required 5 years Social Work or Public Assistance with High School Diploma

• OR 1 year Social Work or Public Assistance with a Bachelor's Degree

• Preferred knowledge of community resources for unfunded/ underfunded patients (Medicaid, Charity Programs, ect.)
