Allegient Defense is looking to hire an Executive Assistant to support our client at the Office of Naval Research (ONR) in Arlington, VA.
Provide high-quality support to multiple Senior Executives, General/Flag Officers and/or senior military staff.
Knowledge and ability to draft information papers, review documentation for signature, handle office communication, and track action items.
Demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills coupled with mature judgment in order to recognize, evaluate, and analyze problems and implement solutions or provide suitable alternatives.
Manage multiple active calendars; compose and prepare correspondence that is sensitive in nature; arrange detailed travel plans, itineraries and agendas; and compile documents for travel-related meetings.
Ability to communicate with Directors, Supervisors, Senior Leadership, and others, on matters related to Senior Executives initiatives.
Build and maintain relationships crucial to the success of the organization and manage a variety of special projects.
Ability to prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion.
This position will support the Director of Mission Support and the Chief Scientist of ONR, and others as deemed necessary.

Demonstrated experience and the ability to support efforts required for the planning, facilitation, execution, and results analysis of workshops, summits, and lectures.
Must possess an understanding of ONR's organizational structure, processes and functions, and shall be able to apply this understanding to the development of position papers and other documents that span the organization.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and at least two (2) years relevant experience in a professional discipline(s) that support task objectives.
