Japanese Bilingual Business Services Professional

As a part of Japan Global Solutions (JGS), you will get the opportunity to apply your English & Japanese bilingual skills to assist our leadership team as well as internal clients.

This role has the flexibility to work hybrid remote from our Chicago, IL office or virtually.

What the day will look like

  • Generating external deliverables such as marketing collaterals and material for key large clients & prospects in English and Japanese. This includes assisting the Leadership Team to create responses to Request for Proposals (RFP) and manage renewals & penetrations for key accounts.

  • Working together with peer Aon professionals such as Finance Specialists and New Business Analysts to generate deliverables such as Business Plans, Executive Status Reports, Financial Reports, and Growth Strategy Plans on a regular basis.

  • Various strategic administrative work on behalf of the Leadership team to achieve business growth including but not limited to;

  • Utilizing various authorized cloud applications and tools as well as electronically organizing and managing documents and Shared Drives on behalf of the Leadership team.

  • Coordinating necessary arrangements to serve clients & prospects and implement growth initiatives.

  • Building productive and respectful working relationships with peers and senior level Aon professionals to achieve assigned responsibilities as well as leveraging knowledge to provide feedback and recommendations to the Leadership Team.

  • Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Bilingual in business level Japanese and English, both spoken and written.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage tasks to work independently.

  • Ability to learn quickly and utilize new IT systems & Cloud applications.

  • Possess excellent problem-solving and time management skills.

  • A team player & collaborator.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Experience in Marketing Support, Proposal Coordination, and/or Executive Support is a plus.

    Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree and above, or related experience and job responsibilities required.

  • Must hold state insurance licenses in both Property & Casualty or obtain Licenses within a reasonable period of time.

    Pay Transparency Laws:

    The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $60,000 - $80,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

    The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Chicago, IL. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.

    This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
