About the position:
We're seeking a Field Application Engineer to join our Energy Solutions team remotely. In this role, you'll serve as a technical advisor to customers and dealers, providing reliable solutions for all technical issues to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the process. In this role, you will:
- Work independently, with guidance from a manager or senior applications staff member as needed.
- Conduct power studies on customer applications using Raymond Energy Meters and simulation tools to ensure solutions meet user needs.
- Collect and analyzing data with CAN/Data loggers to support this analysis.
- Apply energy standards for lead-acid, lithium, fuel cells, and other emerging energy technologies to support customer applications.
- Provide engineering-related support to customers, field service teams, suppliers, and factories.
- Coordinate with internal and external resources to meet customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, offering technical support to external customers as needed.
About you:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in related field such as Electrical, Systems, Energy, or Industrial Systems.
- Ability to travel 80% of the time.
- Possesses strong customer service focus to establish and maintain relationships throughout process.
- Ability to answer complex questions on application and ability to present technical material to a technically diverse audience.
It would be great if you had:
- Previous work experience in batteries, energy storage, and/or power systems.
- Experience working in a developing area of technology with focus on customer needs
About the total compensation package:
Salary - $72,000 - $113,100 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
Relocation – This position may qualify for relocation.
