Mattel E-commerce Key Account Manager (omnichannel clients) in United States

Purpose of Position: * Assess and establish new business partnerships with emerging eRetailers in order to expand distribution and online presence for the Mattel portfolio. Identify business opportunities that enable increased shopper penetration or create incremental value for the iconic brands of Mattel while qualifying for a financially viable ongoing business relationship in Russia. Primary Responsibilities: 1-Customer Facing (Omnichannel clients: Detsky Mir, Korablik, Dochki-and-Synochnki, Toys.ru) * Manage day-to day retailer relationships with several stakeholders * Closely collaborate with stakeholders to ensure listings, continuous availability and activation of the Mattel range on the site * Manage customer investment negotiations for various activations in Russia as needed * Drive Joint Business Planning initiatives for omnichannel clients * Represent the company during trade fairs and showroom visits ERetail Business Development * Establish first contact, provide rationale and engage stakeholders for prospective business relationship * Manage day-to day retailer relationships * Collaborate with customer stakeholders to ensure listings, product availability and activation of the Mattel range on the site * Manage trading terms and customer investment agreements * Represent the company during trade fairs and showroom visits 2-Product Forecasting and replenishment * Monthly quantity forecasting for a large portfolio of brands and products * Near-term turnover forecasting on a weekly basis for submission to management * Engage with Customer Service to inform buyers about product availability and delivery timings 3-Strategy * Evolve and apply an eRetailer prioritization framework that drives decisions on “where to play” first * Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of retailers’ and toy market dynamics * Identify shopper and ecommerce trends for business growth and implement initiatives and action plans * Collaborate with Brand and Shopper Marketing to evolve Mattel’s eRetail presence and activation into being increasingly more consumer centric and brand led 4-Trade Marketing & Activity Planning * Support Customer Range Planning/Selection (with input from brand activation) * Plan and execute customer marketing activities and promotions in collaboration with the Brand Activation team * Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to increase the impact and ROI of activation across the entire digital funnel 5- Data Analysis and Reporting * In collaboration with the analytics teams, monitor KPIs in order to deliver on objectives and accelerate business growth * Monitor the online analytics tools if relevant for the customer portfolio and take corrective action steps when the online implementation KPIs fail to adhere with target (e.g. number of reviews, rich digital content, frequent out-of-stocks etc) 6-Financial * Sales and spending forecasting * Manage and track the allocated budget & maintain the respective audit trails * Deliver on revenue and profit targets 7-Management and leadership * Represent Mattel externally illustrating it’s an industry leader with strong brands and online presence * Together with the rest of the team, act as a centre of competence and expertise for e-retail towards the rest of the organization Skills: * Selling & negotiation skills in international environment, preferably acquired in an international / global company with high seasonality * Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset * Understanding of online / digital metrics * Analytical, problem solving and project management skills * Highly competitive mindset & Business results oriented * Ability to build relationships within a matrix business environment and handle diverse audiences * A confident and articulate communicator capable of inspiring strong collaboration within an organization * Proactive, positive and innovative mind * Fast learner – ability to work in a high energy, fast paced environment * Excellent Excel Skills * Fluent in Russian and English Education: * University degree in Economics, Business Administration or related field (Bachelor/ Master/ Diploma) Experience: * 4+ Years in FMCG/ Sales/Marketing with a solid Key Account Management experience in a multinational Company, of which at least 2 years have been invested in dealing with E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Who We Are: Mattel is a leading global toy company and owner of one of the strongest catalogs of children’s and family entertainment franchises in the world.
