OSV Marketing E-Commerce Content Editor & Traffic Strategist in United States

The E-Commerce Content Editor and Traffic Strategist maintains the consumer ecommerce website, analyzes results, develops and implements creative strategies to improve brand loyalty, reach, and revenue generation. This could include content creation for and analysis of digital media and automated marketing campaigns. Work with marketing and editorial teams to develop and execute digital content marketing and customer engagement strategies that integrate with the consumer ecommerce platform, consumer content websites, and broader marketing and advertising efforts.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Implement website enhancements and landing-pages, maintaining current product content, adding new products, troubleshooting, and site proofreading

  • Lead retail SEO strategy and identify new opportunities for expanded audience reach via SEM and organic SEO within the Catholic book and content marketplace.

  • Optimize website performance and assist in planning website strategy.

  • Develop and monitor for new opportunities in inbound marketing and ecommerce site traffic management.

  • Maintain branding across all digital platforms related to e-commerce and e-commerce marketing.

  • Proactively work across marketing, sales, editorial, and customer service organizations to generate innovation in customer support and product promotion on e-commerce website.

  • Collaborate with Design/UX consultants to develop and maintain styles that reflect appropriate branding across all platforms.

  • Continuously look for new ways to leverage e-commerce as a tool for customer lead and sales conversion.

  • Thorough knowledge of the latest in Google solutions and analytics, with the ability to analyze customer journeys, develop customer-centric measurement, and improving marketing ROI.

  • Monitor and evaluate customer concerns, issues, and satisfaction to maintain and grow customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience with website development and digital and social marketing applications.

  • Design experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS.

  • Proficiency with web content management systems, specifically Magento/Adobe Commerce.

  • Experience with analyzing and reporting on Google Analytics 4 and other Google applications

  • Experience managing ecommerce stores and related brand awareness building and online promotions.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, including a high attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the desire to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.

  • Working knowledge of basic accounting.

  • Proficient knowledge of the teachings, practices, and traditions of the Catholic Church with the ability to apply that knowledge within a content editing and marketing framework.

  • Preference for Spanish language proficiency.

  • Desire to work in a mission-driven environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and experience preferred.

Working Environment:

  • Incumbent will be working in an office environment.

  • Position can be on-site, remote, or hybrid.

  • The incumbent may be required to travel a few times a year.
