The Opportunity ... The Opportunity As our DSI Applications Engineer you will assist with the ongoing operation or sale of vision guided waterjet portioning systems for the food processing industry. You will report to the DSI Application Manager. On a given day, you may: Gather and prioritizing customer requirements Perform a situation assessment Locate necessary information and resources, exploring options, identifying a solution, manipulating the portioning system software to meet the customer needs Measure results and communicating results. The applications engineer coordinates your customer visits based on department priorities and strategic programs. The estimated annual salary range for this role is $85,000 - $135,000. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience. Requirements for the role BS degree in Engineering or Meat Science. 1+ years of experience with technical concepts involving computers, software, and robotics principles.
