ConGobal, the go-to expert for multimodal, industrial terminal operations, is seeking to fill a Director of Product Engineering Role within its technical product development group.
As a Director of Product Engineering, you will be responsible for providing critical leadership and guidance concerning the development of one or more products within ConGlobal’s technology portfolio. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products that meet customer needs and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills. Working closely with our internal teams and external partners, you will be integrally involved in bringing new cutting-edge solutions to life and enhancing current ConGlobal solutions, with the opportunity to influence key strategic directions. This is a hybrid role located in either Fort Worth, TX or Tampa, FL area.

Responsibilities
Product Development: Lead development and integration efforts that align with product roadmap and requirements. Ensure that products are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
Prototype Development: Lead research and prototyping efforts to unlock key enabling product features.
System Design & Component Selection: Collaborate with external vendors and partners, to perform component selection of several subsystems while ensuring cost and quality and COGs metrics are satisfied.
Procurement & Build Strategy: Define ConGlobal’s procurement and build strategy for one or more product lines. Perform build vs buy assessment. Lead efforts with third-party vendors and contract manufactures.
Engineering Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of cross-functional engineers.
Process Improvement: Continue to refine ConGlobal’s engineering processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
10+ years in product development and engineering management roles, or a similar capacity.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable product plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for building products that make a meaningful impact.
Experience working in agile environments and familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Productboard.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
Demonstrated ability to influence change across cross-functional teams.
Must be loacted in either the Fort Worth, TX or Tampa, Florida areas.
Nice to Have
Experience developing products for logistics environments.
Experience developing products according to safety requirements and standards.
Location : Hybrid position in either Fort Worth, TX or Tampa, FL area.. Travel as needed, 25% anticipated with surges as needed.
