ManpowerGroup Director of Business Development in United States

Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven MSP (Managed Service Provider) Director of Business Development to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the MSP sector, and a strong understanding of global solutions and client relationship management. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development:

  2. Identify and target potential clients for MSP solutions through research, networking, and lead generation.

  3. Network with other internal brand partners to create cross selling opportunities.

  4. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.

  5. Generate leads, qualify prospects, and build a robust sales pipeline.

  6. Client Relationship Management:

  7. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and positioning MSP solutions to meet those needs.

  8. Conduct meetings and presentations with potential clients to demonstrate the value of our MSP services.

  9. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

  10. Sales Process Management:

  11. Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including proposal development, contract negotiation, and deal closure.

  12. Collaborate with internal teams to create customized solutions and proposals that meet client requirements.

  13. Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and deal progress in the CRM system.

  14. Market Analysis and Strategy:

  15. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and threats.

  16. Provide feedback to the product development team on client needs and market trends to help shape the MSP offerings.

  17. Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and revenue.

  18. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  19. Track and report on sales performance, including key metrics such as revenue, pipeline status, and forecast accuracy.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5-7years of experience in solution sales, preferably in the MSP industry.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong understanding of MSP services, and solution selling.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.

Working Conditions:

  • This position will require 40-60 % travel to meet with clients and attend industry events.

  • Flexibility to work outside standard business hours as needed to meet sales targets and client needs.
