Intecon DHS Asset Management Data Analyst in United States

Overview:

Location: United States - National Capital Region

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $50–150 per hour

INTECON, LLC is seeking a highly motivated Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Data Analyst in Asset Management to join its team and provide analytical support for CISA's Asset Management Program by managing data integrity, creating insightful reports, and supporting system processes with tools like Microsoft Excel and Power BI.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Active Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Suitability clearance.

  • US Citizen only

  • Experience with Sunflower Asset Management Systems (SAMS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support of CISA's Asset Management Program and its Property Officers. Specific work under this task includes:

  • Collecting and recording property, financial and contractual data using the system of record, SAMS, to manage CISA property throughout its life cycle.

  • Reconciling and maintaining organizational data within the system of record.

  • Creating business reports that provide insight into key data points and trends.

  • Using software/applications to include Microsoft Excel and Power BI in analyzing data and preparing accurate and relevant data reports.

  • Tracking and analyzing key performance indicators to meet objectives.

  • Assisting in the creation and delivery of training and training materials for CISA employees on their assigned duties.

  • Aiding in the development and maintenance of processes, procedures, and controls to support CISA activities.

  • Conducting ongoing database record reviews to support data quality and accuracy.

  • Communicating the results of analyses in written and verbal form.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.

  • Experience in using database and analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms.

  • Experience with government property management systems, specifically the Sunflower Asset Management System (SAMS), is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel for generating reports and data analysis.
