The Data Entry Clerk will participate in a variety of tasks involving data collection and data entry into computer systems according to supervisor instructions and established departmental procedures. Verify and distribute resultant database as required. Assist with various routine activities within the department as needed.
Essential Functions

Must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the hospital's policies and procedures, including its Service Standards and its Code of Conduct.
• Participate in a variety of duties involved in collecting and entering data into a computer according to supervisor instructions; verify and distribute resultant databases as required.
• Coordinate the collection of data from the point of origin, participate in the preprocessing of data to locate missing information, and make corrections as necessary.
• Verify data entered into the computer by checking the database for errors and correcting them as required; perform statistical checks to ascertain the accuracy of data entered.
• Monitor the system for malfunctions and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
• Assist in data collection and compilation for revisions to the database.
• Verify the accuracy, validity, and completion of transcribed data through computer verification, proofreading computer displays or printouts, or other applicable methods; make corrections as necessary.
• Compile reports from existing records; assist with special projects by searching computer files and gathering records as requested.
• Maintain associated logs and records in accordance with established priorities and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
Education: General education background normally equivalent to a high school education.
Experience: Experience in a business or office environment desirable.
License/Certification: None required.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
These are the observable and measurable attributes and skills required to perform successfully the essential functions of the job and are generally demonstrated through qualifying experience, education, or licensure/certification.
Work requires six months of experience with computer skills necessary to perform routine data entry activities.
Proficient in use of personal computers and related software, including Excel databases.
General office skills.

Pay Range
Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role.
Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.
Minimum to Midpoint Range (Hourly): $26.67 to $30.25
