THE ROLE : the Data Domain Lead, Service Asset Management & MRO will be a key player in the company’s transformation efforts through the ERP Program. As a data domain lead, you will have the responsibility to not only consult internally but to set standards and expectations for the organization that drives sustainable and scalable improvements across Service Asset Management & MRO area in both SAP and non-SAP platforms. This role coordinates heavily between our IT organization and business teams, and you will be responsible to help teach, troubleshoot, and be a liaison in this area.

A successful candidate will have the ability to build strong partnerships with business and technology stakeholders and demonstrate successful change management. They will have a strong business acumen, thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively juggle multiple initiatives, and leverage these competencies to provide stewardship and oversight of key master data.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Be a key player of the ERP transformation program

  • Develop and leverage relationships with key stakeholders including Finance, IT and Master Data

  • Work closely with business SME personnel to develop and maintain a functional understanding and documentation of what processes have been developed to date as well as any data challenges that may exist.

  • Create SOPs for implementing global master data management standards and data governance ensuring they align to best practices

  • Analyze and align opportunities across different businesses and legacy ERP systems to drive value as a data-driven organization

  • Connect and influence through shared vision to drive innovation and adoption of new tools and processes

  • Collaborate to align master data management and data governance standards, processes, and rollout with the Global ERP rollout

  • Excel in a fast past environment, while providing a high level of quality and control. Provide thought leadership and a vision for the future of data while providing a scalable platform for speed and efficiency.

  • Facilitate meetings with technical and business resources, documenting the outcomes of those meetings

  • Use existing or seek out emerging industry practices when solving business problems.

  • Ensures compliance of government or regulatory standards (SOX, PCI, internal audit, external audit, etc.).

  • Engage with the ERP team handle governance, planning, acquisition, development, and delivery of new and existing data capabilities in ERP.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Master’s degree and 2 years of Information Systems experience; or Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Information Systems experience.

  • Proven experience in Master Data Management and Data Governance role, specific to Service Asset Management & MRO processes and MDM scenarios.

  • Understanding of modern Master Data Management Concepts and Data Quality approaches, tools, techniques, vendor landscape and best practices.

  • Proven analytical capabilities when managing ambiguity, supporting process management, process re-engineering and data management.

  • Experience with understanding relationships between data fields throughout a system.

  • Data mapping and data modeling experience.

  • Organization and priority setting skills.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills using available resources, and proactive escalation when additional resources may be required.

  • Business Analyst Experience

  • Effective written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to interact with users of varying levels of technological understanding and stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong technical documentation skills.

  • Possesses good time management skills and has the ability to self-manage support/issue priorities.

  • Experience working effectively in a globally dispersed team environment.

Technical Knowledge

  • 4 or more years of experience in the deploying and supporting of complex solutions using master data and data governance technologies.

  • Informatica Experience (a plus)

  • SAP MDG Experience (a plus)

  • SAP ERP Implementation Experience

  • Experience bringing data from many diverse systems including many ERPs to enable a single source of truth

In this role, the working environment is generally in an office setting and may be performed remotely. The physical demands may include but are not limited to moving around in an office environment, frequent oral communication, close vision, and ability to operate office equipment. Approximately 50% time spent traveling.

Salary range:

$91,500.00 - $164,500.00
