Full Time Contract Title: SQL Developer Specialist Location: Carolina, Puerto Rico 90% Remote (2 days a week on site) Length of Contract: 1 year Company description: RCM is seeking a SQL Developer Specialist for a pharmaceutical manufacturing client located in Carolina, Puerto Rico. It is a subsidiary of a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry. Has been operating in Puerto Rico for over 50 years and is one of the largest employers in the area. The company manufactures a variety of pharmaceutical products, including tablets, capsules, and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). Position Description: As a SQL Develper Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision making within our organization. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Your work will support strategic planning, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain data architecture, including databases, data warehouses, and data processing systems.
Develop and manage data pipelines for extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data using Microsoft Integration Services (SSIS) and other tools.
Collaborate with data analysts to understand their data requirements and provide effective data solutions.
Implement data quality control processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
Ensure data security and privacy compliance with Lilly regulations and policies.
Document data processes, architectures, and procedures for knowledge sharing and audit purposes.
Support patch implementations on servers (database, applications) and periodic password changes.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on data architecture design and management.
In-depth knowledge of SQL and experience working with both relational and non-relational databases, such as MongoDB.
Proven expertise in using Microsoft Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL processes.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and exceptional analytical skills.
Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI.
Experience with dataflows in Power BI.
Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker, MCSA: BI Reporting) are a plus.
