AON CoverWallet, Accounting Operations Specialist in United States

CoverWallet, an Aon company is hiring for an Accounting Operations Specialist, this position can be in our Victor, NY, Lincolnshire, IL, or Fort Washington, PA offices.

What the day will look like:

  • Responsible for review of client receivables and carrier payables including identification and initiation of resolution of premium discrepancies

  • Point person for internal and external contacts for policy inquiries and outstanding premium balances

  • Ensure resolution requests are completed and escalate and report exceptions

  • Report and describe any policy system and data input errors

  • Liaison information and provide guidance to the 3rd party transaction processing team

  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and financial controls

  • Other responsibilities and enterprise duties as assigned

    Skills and experience that will lead to success:

  • 1 + years of related experience

  • Experience using Salesforce and Applied Epic Accounting System preferred

  • Solid financial accounting and analytical skills

  • Experience in researching and resolving reconciliation variances

  • Motivated self-starter

  • Demonstrated excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills

  • Advanced Excel, Google Sheets, and PowerPoint and database analytics

  • Insurance Agency account experience preferred

  • Strong customer service focus

    Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or Mathematics preferred

    The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $52,000 to $56,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
