Job Description Summary:

The Coordinator, Classroom Technology Audio Visual Services is responsible for supporting audio-visual technologies in all classrooms, meeting rooms and events facilities at all college sites. This role includes installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of AV equipment including the setup and break-down of equipment for special events as needed. A primary responsibility of this position is to provide initial response and resolution of classroom technology issues. This position has supervisory oversight of technical staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or equivalent formal training in the related field.

  • Combination of education and related full- time or part-time experience for a total of six years in the field supervising and delivering analog and digital audiovisual technology services.

  • Extensive experience with digital consoles. # Experience operating and troubleshooting audiovisual and computing equipment.

  • Experience with reading wiring diagrams and system design drawings.

  • InfoComm CTS certification desired, Crestron, AMX and, Extron level one programming certificate desired.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to work Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Work schedule subject to change based on the needs of the department.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English.

  • As required by the 1986 Immigration Act, be prepared to present acceptable documentation showing your identity and that you are a U.S. citizen or an alien who is authorized to work.

  • A fingerprint supported background investigation will be conducted prior to the offer of employment. A signed authorization for release of personal information will be required if selected for an interview.
