Lincoln Technical Institute Mobile Chassis Mechanic Instructor in United States
Lincoln Tech is seeking experienced Mobile Chassis Mechanics with exceptional mentorship or team leadership. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in welding, refrigeration unit service and repair, and comprehensive maintenance of containers and chassis. In this role, you'll not only apply your technical skills but also provide valuable guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring they are trained to the highest level of proficiency and hand skills.
Responsibilities of a Mobile Chassis Mechanic Instructor
Utilize approved course materials and teaching methods
Facilitate student-centered learning and deliver objectives
Adhere to compliance with teaching methods and materials
Communicate and enforce school policies; advise students on attendance, grades, and discipline
Offer academic support, tutoring, and skills enhancement
Enforce policies, advise on academics, and maintain records
Motivate students with professionalism and adjust to their learning styles
Keep accurate records of attendance and grades, and address management concerns
Provide mentorship and training to team members
Collaborate with departments to support goals
Participate actively with WFL and partner departments to support goals
Maintain containers and chassis to safety standards
Requirements of a Mobile Chassis Mechanic Instructor
5+ years’ experience in:
Repair and Maintenance of Reefer / Trailer / Chassis / Containers
Welding
Refrigerant Handling license
Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Up to 50% travel Monday - Friday / Wilmington, SC home location
Ability to obtain TWIC card
High school diploma / GED
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Certifications Preferred:
IICL
FMCSA
Welding certification
