Your role at Clorox:
As the Capabilities Team Leader you will be managing, overseeing and developing the Customer Data Strategy, Capability Team and our enterprise Integrated Data Fabric (IDF) initiative for the Sales Function. You will establish and lead new data governance protocols for customer data in partnership with Enterprise & Master Data Governance team, while overseeing and prioritizing our customer data investments. This position also plays key role in our vision to democratize data across the function and to maximize enterprise value from our data, analytical tools and data capabilities.

In this role, you will:
Lead and develop a team of 9 employees
Oversee customer data investments and manage budget
Establish data stewardship and governance protocols
Mange key technology relationships and tool or software investments
Lead data strategy use case charter project
Evolve reporting for Walmart, Sam’s Club sales and category teams
Develop centralized customer reporting for business teams
Democratize data and analytical capabilities across Sales
Facilitate planogram development and category capabilities with technology
Serve as Sales liaison to IT and enterprise data and analytics
What we look for:
Technical Skills: experience with Microsoft suite - Power BI, Azure, Databricks, Data Factory
Knowledge of US retailers and their data platforms
Ability to understand technical barriers, issues and uncover opportunities
Ability to work independently with enterprise mindset and develop a relationships with key stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree required
8+ years’ experience with data analytics or retail technology
Strong thought leadership and ability to think strategically
Experienced leading direct and cross-functional teams
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem solving & analytical ability
Comfort with ambiguity
Strong planning skills and
Remote with travel to Bentonville, AR, Durham, NC and the Bay Area frequently.

We use broad salary ranges that reflect the competitive market for similar jobs, provide sufficient opportunity for growth as you gain experience and expand responsibilities, while also allowing for differentiation based on performance. Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $144,200 - $289,900
–Zone B: $132,200 - $265,700
–Zone C: $120,200 - $241,600

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
