Title: Account Manager Pediatrics - BayCare Health System

Facility: St. Joseph's Children's Hospital

This position will require travel to facilities in Polk, Pasco, Hillsborough, and Pinellas Counties.

This position is a system role that will cover a pediatric service line.

Responsibilities:

• The Account Manager Pediatrics is responsible for increasing the pediatric business for St Joseph’s Children’s Hospital (SJCH) by developing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships within and outside of BayCare to support the organization’s volume and revenue goals.

• Works with and maintains liaison relationships with leadership, operations and patients to maintain or increase business, resolve issues and remove obstacles to business growth.

• Provides educational in-services and opportunities about SJCH to targeted physician groups (NICU, Emergency Dept, etc.) and clinical staff where there are no pediatric services available or in cases where pediatric patients need higher acuity of care (SJCH PICU).

• Promotes and provides education for BayCare Kids SJCH Outpatient Centers, the Congenital Heart Program with SJCH cardiovascular physicians and the SJCH Pediatric Residency Program.

• Provides navigation and education to all referring community pediatricians to assist their pediatric patients with integration into the SJCH programs and services.

• Must have strong communication skills, including persuasive and educational writing and speaking.

• Must have strategic and critical thinking skills and ability to analyze market/trend reports.

• Performs a variety of customer service and program or service education on behalf of the organization.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Certifications and Licensures

• FLORIDA RN (Registered Nurse) License

Education

• Required - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Experience

• Required - 5 years registered nursing

Shift Hours: 8:00AM - 4:00PM

Weekend Work: Occasional
