The Department of the Air Force (DAF) is in the midst of a wholescale transformation effort aimed at delivering a force that is ready to meet the challenges of the 21st century. DAF is transforming elements of all phases of its human resource management (HRM) life cycle to meet their people demands.

ManTech will ensure that the DAF’s business processes and supporting information technology platforms fully empower DAF personnel and Guardians to maximize their abilities. Your work on the DTD team will help transform data and enterprise architectures, consolidate and modernize platforms, and integrate AI into human capital business processes.

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Business Analyst/ Process SME- Data Migrations to join our team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • The Business Analyst translates business requirements to technical and functional teams for data solution implementations

  • Works closely with Product Owners to refine user stories and categorize the user-centric requirements

  • Demonstrates an understanding of the customers team’s capability visions by researching, wireframing, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences

  • Identifies design problems, developing elegant solutions, and justifying design decisions eloquently

  • Communicates design ideas and prototypes supported by objective analyses to facilitate decision-making including process flowcharts using tools (e.g. MS Visio)

  • Develops presentations and reports conveying complex information

  • Performs subjective and objective research both qualitatively and quantitatively, to gather deep end-user understanding

  • Participates on an agile team and use expand your knowledge of agile methodologies and tools (e.g., SAFe, JIRA, Confluence)

  • Orchestrates coordination between stakeholders, end users, and technical teams.

  • Performs planning and facilitation of stakeholder meetings.

  • Selects appropriate analysis methodologies and documentation standards.

  • Anticipates requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and designing appropriate solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Engineering, Mathematics, or Business

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Process Analyst or similar role working with Data Solutions/Migrations or related systems

  • Experience leading and delivering Agile Development projects

  • Experience leading client briefings and review sessions; demonstrated ability to present a polished and professional image to clients

  • Ability to thrive in an ever changing, technology-based consulting environment

  • Willingness to readily take ownership of tasks and problems, which often extend beyond initial scope of responsibility

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizenship and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time with occasional travel.

The projected compensation range for this position is $84,900-$141,100. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
