Job Description
As a Backend Engineer you will be responsible for shaping the server infrastructure that powers our player management system. You will collaborate with a talented team of engineers, designers, and artists to create a seamless and engaging world for our players.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs to support various game features, including player interactions, game mechanics, and data storage.
Implement security best practices to protect user data, prevent cheating, and secure communication between clients and servers.
Participate in all aspects of the project life-cycle, from concept, to specification to release to live support
Collaborate with frontend engineers, game designers, and other stakeholders to integrate backend services seamlessly into the overall game architecture.
Skills & Requirements
3+ years of experience in software development
Deep-level knowledge of SQL
Proficient in C# Development
Experience in general database management
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills
Ability to clearly and articulately communicate across functions, disciplines, and audiences
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills while exercising sound judgment
AA+ game experience
Great communication and leadership skills and also being a team player
Fluent in English, both verbally and written
As a pluses:
Unreal Engine knowledge
Experience and understanding in rust and blockchain development
