We are actively recruiting for an Associate Director/Senior Manager, Payor and Market Access Analytics who will provide tracking, analysis and insights that impact patient access for Caplyta through its influence on the pricing, contracting and payer marketing strategies. This position leads the generation and enablement of market access specific insights, requiring strong proficiency with analytics tools, syndicated, secondary and internal data resources.
Responsibilities:
Generate insights and develop KPIs to further US commercial strategy, including evaluating contract performance, analyzing brand performance by payer channel, measuring payer pull-through efforts, and diagnosing regional challenges
Collaborate with Payer Marketing and Access leadership to ensure reporting and analytics prioritization
Understand the impact of utilization management, tiering and formulary or medical policy impact on overall demand (for our brand as well as the competition)
Analyze investments in co-pay and prior authorization support
Support regional access managers by creating account level access insights: institutions, IDN’s, VA etc
Conduct proactive research and analysis of various data sources/vendors to further expand payor analytics capabilities
Inform and support future pre- and post- contract evaluations with contract operations and administration teams. This may include volume and geographic considerations as well as utilization management trends
Prepare regular reports and dashboards for management to supplement customer and ac-count business and performance reviews. Reporting will include, but not limited to formulary tracking, rate tracking, invoice tracking, growth and performance-based rebate tracking across customers and/or channel segments
Liase with Health Outcomes on supporting HEOR workplan where commercial data sets and data can be leveraged where required
Develop reporting/tracking automation for key payor/access metrics, including supply chain
Proficiently manage stakeholders and vendors, leading analytics to deliver compelling learnings and formulating analytical strategies appropriate to address access issues
Partner with commercial teams and finance to support access contributions to sales forecasts, business planning and long-range planning

Perform claims analysis to understand impact of access on abandonment, line of therapy, adherence and other key metrics
Evaluate new & innovative analytics technologies and capabilities (e.g., leveraging AI/machine learning) to further enhance capabilities
Responsibilities:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant quantitative field; master’s degree preferred. Degree in finance, economics, market research, business analytics, mathematics, statistics, operations research or other analytical field a plus
6-10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry with at least 3 years in US payer or market access related insights required
Deep subject matter expertise within the overall U.S. market access environment, with an in-depth understanding of value, pricing and reimbursement dynamics
Experience with US healthcare datasets (e.g. IQVIA National, Xponent, FIA, Subnational), Symphony and Veeva Patient Claims, Formulary & Policy data, and MMIT
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau)
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
Working knowledge of analytical tools/software/programming languages with SQL
Programming with Python and R preferred
Stakeholder management: Ability to communicate confidently and succinctly to senior leaders and ability to manage complexity and ambiguity in a highly matrixed environment
Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives that require cross collaboration across multiple functional areas
Strong creative problem-solving skills and business acumen, with the ability to identify key findings from disparate data sources to provide recommendations
Strong story telling skills; ability to distill complex information synthesized into concise and impactful messages and communications
Excellent listening, presentation, writing, editing and communication skills with ability to present to senior management when needed

Associate Director/Senior Manager, Payor and Market Access Analytics: Base Salary Range $140K - $170K
