Associate Director, Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Thought Leader Liaison, Oncology, North Central
The Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison (AD TLL), Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) Oncology is a field-based, non-sales position on Regeneron’s commercial oncology team, focused on enhancing and improving interactions with key external US oncology thought leaders at academic centers and leading community practices. The primary areas of focus include thought leader engagement to evolve the relationship and the thought leader’s perceptions around Regeneron and the brand, conference management, serving as a liaison for the speakers, and partnering with marketing. All TLL interactions are always within label, and consistent with commercial compliance, legal and regulatory guidelines. TLLs will report to the Director, Oncology Thought Leader Liaisons.
The AD TLL will work closely with cross-functional leaders from Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales, Key Accounts, Market Access and the Oncology Leadership Team to ensure alignment with the overall strategy and tactical execution. The attributes that are critical for success include leadership, strategic thinking, clinical and disease state acumen, collaboration, communication, and the ability to execute key initiatives and provide timely feedback.
The typical day may include the following:
Aligning with cross-functional teams, the TLL orchestrates resources as they relate to assigned key thought leaders
Conducting substantive business discussions related to on-label product information, disease state, and general corporate overviews, to drive support for Regeneron Oncology
Acting as a coordinated, single point of contact to resolve issues between the thought leader and his / her institution and the REGN
Assisting with key thought leader development and driving thought leader support of our on-label indications and REGN with approved decks and materials
In a compliant manner, plan and execute thought leader engagements and senior executive encounters at local, regional and national’s conferences, POAs, in field engagements, and other venues
This role may be for you if:
You possess a Strong science background with deep knowledge of oncology. Ability to understand, work with, and provide commercial input to all functions within the project team
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to execute against strategic and tactical plans under tight timelines
Ability to present ideas effectively to individuals or groups, targeting presentation to the needs of the audience
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Strong organizational skills and demonstrated strategic thinking
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have a Bachelor's degree. A Master’s degree or other advanced education/certification a plus. Specialty pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical experience with a minimum of 7 years of work experience in one or more of the following: previous or current Thought Leader Liaison role, field sales, product marketing, or medical / clinical experience including experience in the Lung Oncology market or a similar Immuno-Oncology marketplace. Experience in a competitive disease area preferred. Physician-administered biologics experience preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills (past management experience a plus but not required). Strong project management experience, including superior analytical and planning skills. Ability to travel to meetings/trainings/programs as necessary. Current understanding of pharmaceutical promotional rules and regulations. A valid driver's license. Ability to travel 60% - 80%.
