IT Concepts Asset Management and Logistics Lead (VA ESOM) in United States

IT Concepts, Inc. (ITC) is seeking an experienced Asset Management and Logistics Lead to support our VA-ESOM- End Point Support and Operations Monitoring contract across the United States. The VA is responsible for providing comprehensive onsite and remote support to IT customers across all VA Administrations and special program offices, including direct support of over 340,000 VA employees and thousands of contractors who use government-furnished IT equipment and infrastructure. The VA provides support staff across 100+ CONUS and OCONUS locations including difficult-to-accommodate locales, such as high cost of living or under supported economic areas, where VA offices or facilities may be located and require onsite services.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead IT hardware (HW) asset lifecycle, IT Software (SW) asset lifecycle and logistics lifecycle for Mac and Windows ensuring optimal and secure operations.

  • Collaborate with the agency to define clear objectives, goals and SLA for IT HW assets, IT SW assets, Logistics, ServiceNow and Asset data management.

  • Lead a consolidated view of Assets across Logistics, Maintenance and Management including remediation efforts and periodic audits.

  • Accountable for inventory management, asset management, Monthly Critical Priority Incidents and High Priority Incidents, update ITIL Framework, AES Scores, VA Monitoring Framework, auto alerts to VA OIT, % at or exceeding threshold (CPU, Memory, Network latency, Disk space), performance metric, utilization, discrepancy & corrective action.

  • Collaborate with the peers on Asset and Account control Center Dashboard (Power BI) including HW / SW Asset Management, Logistics, ITSM and Quarterly KPI Report.

  • Collaborate with vendors, to obtain specifications and costs (quote) information for HW / SW assets

  • Communicate escalation paths for specifications and dependencies to maintain baseline

  • Lead the team through asset management information for compliance and data calls

  • Collaborate with ESOM Contract Business Operations team members for effective IT HW asset management and forecast HW / SW asset equipment demand

  • Single point of contact for IT HW / SW roadmap recommendations to the decision authorities within the agency; aligning those upstream to the portfolio and budget; and downstream with Team members

  • Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support through regular review of Incidents, Service Tickets, Problem Management, etc.

Location: This is a remote position based in the United States that will support EST working hours

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, systems, business or related scientific / technical discipline (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)

  • 10 years of experience with IT asset management life cycle, IT project management methodologies and stakeholder management (e.g. Weekly Progress reports, Workplan, leadership).

  • Must have experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress. Must be able to identify and mitigate risks.

  • Effective communication, coordination and attention to detail across multiple levels to ensure consistent and unified messaging in large organizations.

  • Expertise in managing high-pressure situations, crafting messaging during crises, and mitigating communication risks.

  • Policy updates recommendation and clearly communicate with stakeholders and decision authority within the agency.

  • Excellent writing and editing skills are a must, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive, and mission-aligned communication materials.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with Teams, but self-motivated to complete projects on your own.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience supporting a federal client.

  • Section 508 conformance experience.

  • Experience with developing long-term asset management strategies and roadmaps that align with agency objectives, anticipate challenges, adapt to changing conditions, and congressional communication requests.

  • Project Management Professional (PMI-PMP), ITIL certification or equivalent.

Clearance requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance.

  • Must be US Citizen or Green Card holder.
