The Lead Application Specialist is responsible for supporting the Business Development horizontal and other Campus teams by providing demonstrations, presentations, and consultative expertise (including training/mentoring/coaching) for Infinite Campus products and services. Lead is also responsible for key administrative and management tasks to help the team be successful.

Job Responsibilities

Application Specialist

  • Demonstrate mastery of (majority of) the Infinite Campus State Edition, Infinite Campus SIS, all complementary Premium Products and Suites, and key modules/tools.

  • Provide live demonstrations (and recordings for on-demand lead generation) of the Infinite Campus State Edition, SIS, and Premium Products/Suites (in-person and virtual) for Infinite Campus sales, other internal teams, and Channel Partner sales as needed.

  • Lead or assign webinar/video opportunities while working with marketing and sales (and additional Business Development teams) on project strategy, scripting, guest selection and prep, etc.

  • Serve as the Business Development point of contact as needed for Studio requests.

  • Manage Inside Infinite Campus presentations for staff.

Administrative/Management Tasks

  • Schedule team members for 1:1 demo opportunities (in-person and virtual), tradeshows, and other events (user groups, interchanges, conferences, etc.). Additionally, ensure equal participation in delivering dozens of live, quarterly general SIS and product demos. Assign on-demand recordings as needed.

  • Attend (or assign) launch meetings to ensure team members are continually aware of changes/enhancements for demo purposes.

  • Create or assign the monthly Latest Innovations recordings in collaboration with Product Management.

  • Create or assign (twice per year) the Top Recent Release Highlights deck with Product Management.

  • Assist with preparation of Requests for Information (RFI’s), Requests for Proposal (RFP’s), and proposals. This could include assigning and/or answering functionality-related questions, completing matrices, etc. Participate in fit gap analysis as needed. Assign sandbox creation as needed.

  • Work with Campus teammates to develop and maintain demonstration sites of the Infinite Campus products for on-site or remote demonstrations and presentations, including access to scrambled customer data for demonstration site preparation.

  • Train, mentor, and coach teammates; review all demo surveys for coaching opportunities.

  • Lead weekly team meetings and work with Finance to periodically share commission updates.

  • Demonstrates a positive team-oriented attitude in dealing with internal staff, Channel Partner staff and external customers.

  • Other related duties as assigned

Desired Background

  • K12 education experience, software/technology experience, and/or sales to K12 experience.

  • 5+ years of experience demoing software products and services.

  • Infinite Campus SIS experience desired.

  • Must have excellent speaking and writing skills.

  • Must be able to manage time, set priorities, and accomplish tasks on time.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Performance Expectations

  • Perform job responsibilities as directed achieving desired results within expected time frames and with a high degree of quality and professionalism

  • Consistently obtain excellent demo ratings/reviews from customers/prospects across all products.

  • Establish and maintain positive and productive work relationships with all staff, customers, and business partners.

  • Full-time position based at Infinite Campus corporate.

  • Up to 50% travel for on-site demonstrations nationally.

  • Must follow the Demo2Win complex software sales process
