CyberData Technologies Application Programmer in United States
CyberData Technologies is looking to hire an Application Programmer to join our team at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, GA. This individual will be supporting the ongoing operations, maintenance, validation of requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and user support tasks and activities. All work will be remote.
* Must be able to obtain a CDC Public Trust Remote Position **
Position: Mid Level Application Programmer.
Job Requirements:
Utilize established development tools, guidelines, and conventions to support a Production surveillance and data collection tool for the CDC with Microsoft technology stack including .Net Framework, .Net Core, ASP.Net, ASP.Net core, Visual Studio, SQL Server, C#, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Design, code, and test new components/applications for the supported system
Enhance the existing system by identifying areas for modification and improvement
Maintain the existing system by identifying and correcting software defects
Assist with the analysis of information requirements
Aid in the evaluation of problems with workflow, organization and planning
Assist the help-desk team in troubleshooting production issues
Investigate and develop skills in new technologies
Required Skills and Experience:
Solid developing experience in various areas using C# programming
Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a CDC Public Trust clearance
Self-motivated and able to establish priorities, work independently and attain positive results in a virtual team environment
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or IT related field
Minimum of 3 years of systems development experience
Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience in design and development of survey / data collection systems
Additional proficiencies: Angular/React/Vue; Agile/Scrum, Azure/AWS, OAuth/token based authentication
