Opportunity:

Virtual Service Operations is searching for an AppDynamics Software Consulting Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in helping customers unlock the full potential of their AppDynamics solution investments. You will take ownership of technical project execution, working closely with the project team to ensure successful implementation and delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Enable customers to realize the most value from their AppDynamics investments

• Take ownership of the technical execution of projects and work hand-in-hand with the project team to monitor the progress of the project against its technical design

• Concisely convey and promote the business value of the combined product and services solution

• Maintain expert level implementation proficiency and the ability to implement any AppDynamics product independently through ongoing training and enablement

• Keep abreast of dynamic technology landscapes with a particular focus on adjacent technologies like microservices, containerization, Cloud, software security, etc

• Help synthesize learning and trends observed in the field into repeatable technology best practices in collaboration with other AppDynamics functions

• Mentor other Services team members on various technical topics to promote a shared culture of technology excellence at all levels

• Foster collaboration with our product, support, Customer Success and engineering teams and provide feedback from the field on features and functionality

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or similar technical field or equivalent technical experience

• 3+ years of relevant technical experience as technical or pre-sales Consultant for an enterprise software company or for a recognized consultancy firm

• 3+ years of experience in Professional Service Delivery and customer facing projects.

• Understanding of the application performance management space with hands on experience with AppDynamics or contending products a bonus

• Excellent soft skills along with customer interaction and presentation skills (ability to clearly communicate to different audiences and deliver a message in a concise, professional manner)

• Ability to educate customers on the value of our products and build trusted advisor relationships at all levels of the organization

Requirements

• Must be able and willing to work 100% remote

• Must be located in the USA

• Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. citizenship status

Salary Description

$95,000.00 - $105,000.00
