Job Description

The Art, Communications, and Theatre (ACT) Department at Texas A&M University-Kingsville is accepting applications for Dual Enrollment Lecturers in Art History and Studio Courses. Dual Enrollment courses across the Coastal Bend & South Texas region are possible assignments.

  • Lecturer will teach lower level Art Courses as needed by the department.

  • Art History classes will be taught as needed.

Studio Art courses will be taught in Kingsville on campus.

Minimum Requirements

  • A Master's degree in the field of Art from a regionally accredited institution or university.

  • Must have a minimum of 18 graduate hours for each field that they teach.

  • Experience teaching Art History and/or Studio Art courses at the university level.

Selected candidates must pass a pre-employment background investigation to be hired for this position. Prior to issuing a letter of appointment, official transcripts must be received directly from each degree-granting institution by the Office of the Provost, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, MSC 102, Kingsville, Texas 78363-8202. However, for review of the application, applicants must submit unofficial transcripts from each institution of higher education attended within their application.
