How does this role contribute to our collective success?
The Actuarial Pricing Tools team oversees the governance and implementations of the AXIS pricing tools across both insurance and reinsurance. We are committed to improving the AXIS Pricing Process by developing more automation, improving the integration with the UW process, and upgrading the date capture capabilities.
What will you do in this role?
Assist with development and implementation of APIs needed to streamline the pricing process. These APIs will include pre-populating pricing tools, completing stochastics modelling as well as other relevant pricing functions.
Assist with the build and implementation of the integration framework that will automatically open pricing tools and linking actions with downstream functions.
Assist with the develop, design and build of the Next Generation of Pricing Tools
Assist with the design of the Data Capture process
You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities appropriate to the nature of this role.
About You:

What you need to have:
Pricing and simulation tool developer with prior experience in a similar role Working knowledge and expertise with the following software: EXCEL VBA, PYTHON, SQL, Azure and all other Microsoft products Ability to build APIs, work in both server and Cloud environments, and assist with database systems Good communication skills and able to work in a collaborative setting
What we prefer you to have:
Actuarial skills especially pricing experience is desirable but not required. Working knowledge of R & SAS
