Wildsam is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Intern. The ideal candidate is passionate about marketing, communications, customer service, and all things digital, and is eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic media environment. This internship offers the opportunity to contribute to various marketing initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and learn the ins and outs of brand growth and business strategy.

This is a part-time (15 hrs/week) seasonal internship that will be based in our Austin office, reporting to the Director of Operations.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct research on independent shops as potential customers for Wildsam Field Guides

• Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including content development for product launches, holiday and promotional events

• Collaborate with the editorial team to support digital distribution of magazine and digital content

• Researching and pitching ideas for social media content

• Support in any marketing day-to-day tasks and special projects as assigned

What You'll Need to Have for the Role

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business, Journalism or a related field.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Basic understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing techniques.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

• Passion for travel, storytelling, and cultural exploration.

Pay Range:

$20.70-$24.60 Hourly
