UL, LLC Associate Field HR Business Partner in Taiwan

  • Supports HR initiatives locally by providing guidance on programs and ensuring local adoption.

  • Works collaboratively with colleagues to improve the employee experience.

  • Understands general local employment law concepts and work with HR colleagues to keep up to date on local trends impacting talent.

  • Assists in execution of local onboarding, offboarding, time & absence management, and pension plan administration.

  • Uses Oracle HR Cloud functions to manage person changes.

  • Provides guidance and interpretation of HR policies, procedures and processes to ensure local adoption and compliance. Supports audit, compliance and other HR related programs locally.

  • Identifies opportunities for developing new or revised human resources policies and procedures. Assists in developing and implementing programs using knowledge of organizational (enterprise and HR) goals and objectives.

  • University Degree in Human Resources Administration, Business Administration or a related discipline, plus generally 1-3 years of Human Resources administration or HR shared services experience.

  • Strong communication and client service skills with an ability to build confidence with customers and provide creative solutions.

  • Working knowledge of labor law as well as market knowledge with respect to employee relations, recruitment, compensation and performance management.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with commonly used business and HR software applications.

  • General knowledge of human resources policies, procedures and processes related to all functional areas of Human Resources.

  • Basic analytical skills with the ability to interpret data.

  • Basic project management skills with the ability to complete project deliverables accurately and on time.
