Description and Requirements
Position Description:
The Lenovo Commercial Services Content Designer will design & manage training content and program curricula to increase adoption and competency in selling Lenovo Services and software.
The person in this role will identify and support the life-cycle of curriculum design, development, management, delivery, evaluation and reporting of sales training. This can include the production, hosting, and delivery of online, face-to-face, and virtual training materials, training guides, communications, SOP, instructor manuals and presentations - as well as success measurement and return on investment (ROI) calculation.
The person selected for this role will create product and tools training programs following standard operating procedures while collaborating with global subject matter experts and sales enablement teams.
This role works in coordination with WW Services Marketing and Training teams to support the training calendar, training programs, and sales enablement activities that will have measurable impact on the Lenovo Services business. This role will design and develop training programs to be delivered across all markets supported by Lenovo. The training programs will ensure that sales representatives have the training they need to successfully sell Services and Solutions.
The candidate should have 5+ years of training development and vendor management experience. Past sales training and/or marketing experience is expected. The candidate should demonstrate strong presentation skills and the ability to independently create a plan and drive organizational results.
Position Requirements:
Ability to deliver a training strategy for the Services and Software organization to increase Services, Software and Solutions sales performance
Create and manage a calendar and project plan for production and delivery of training materials
Align with Services Training organizations on required training, competency and credential/certification initiatives
Determine best mode of training content delivery to optimize effectiveness and ROI
Work closely with vendors when required to develop training content
Develop an accountability process to ensure successful delivery and completion of training modules including scorecards/KPIs to measure success
Required Technical/Professional Knowledge/Skills:
Understanding of PC technologies
Knowledge and ability to develop sales-focused training
Understanding of complex sales relationships, programs and incentives
High-level of familiarity with Microsoft Suite tools (PowerPoint, Word & Excel)
Familiarity with SCORM and learning technology, instructional and graphic design
The ability to learn quickly by interacting with subject matter experts, and by using documentation, software and other tools
Exceptional written communication skills
Strong communications and presentation skills
Project management skills
Flexibility, creativity and dependability
Excellent English language skills are essential
Required Education and Experience:
BA/BS degree
5+ years of training experience - high tech industry and/or Sales/Services experience preferred
2+ years of experience in sales relationship management
Experience creating e-learning and/or using e-learning authoring tools
Experience working with global teams and/or cross-functional teams that are geographically dispersed across different time zones and cultures
