Veritas’ Worldwide Sales and Marketing team propels company growth by driving all aspects of sales and marketing, including direct and channel sales, global sales enablement and all marketing functions.

The Senior Manager Channel Sales Operations & Programs APJ, is responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the Channel Sales Operations & Programs Team, working in partnership and close alignment with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate global objectives and priorities are enabled within the Channel EcoSystem.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving success within the Channel Sales team, enabling global process and methodologies to ensure sales results are maximized and also implementation and management of the Global Partner Program including but not limited to program communications, training and enablement within Geo.

This position provides insights and drives innovation and simplification across business processes and assistance in the development and execution of key strategies for sustained growth.

Role and Responsibilities:

The Senior Manager Chanel Sales Operations executes activities/initiatives which are essential to achieving results including:

  • Analyse the performance of the Channel Sales team through business metrics, providing insights into the sales process and effectiveness of the sales organization.
  • Create, Drive and Support Key Global Growth Initiatives
  • Monitor the accuracy and effectiveness of Channel Programs always ensuring Program compliance
  • Ensure timely execution of Sales & Partner enablement in the region and demonstrate quantifiable results (pipeline)
  • Coach and mentor Channel Sales leaders & reps through the rollout of new programs and initiatives to ensure success and adherence to program guidelines
  • Coordinate assigned Sales Team forecasting, planning and budgeting processes used within the organization ensuring accuracy and defined cadence are in place
  • Ensuring the highest levels of data quality and adherence to data standards and standard process
  • Sales Team quota assignments and Quota review
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Manage team of individuals focusing on development, empowerment and KPI management as well as internal and external Relationship Management
  • Working closely with Finance and Human Resources, provides assistance with sales incentive compensation administration on an as-needed basis, or when required to arbitrate or clarify the application of sales compensation program policies and procedures
  • Directs and supports the consistent implementation of company initiatives
  • Builds peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key management personnel

Experience:

  • Executive presence, requirement to engage at a peer level, not only within assigned Sales Team, but with other senior sales executives both internally and externally
  • Strong Leadership and People Management Experience
  • Persuasive teaming required to drive results in collaboration at a senior level with executive peers, demonstrable experience at this level
  • Understanding of how to use data to drive decision making
  • 10+ years of work experience in sales operations, programs, strategy/consulting and/or operations roles
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Strong record of leadership and ability to work and influence effectively
  • Strong business and financial acumen
