If that gets you excited, we have a rare opportunity for you to join a dynamic team and help us to make Facebook locally relevant at a global scale!As an International Product Growth Manager for Pakistan, you will work to ensure Facebook is locally relevant and successful. Leveraging your deep understanding of the local competitive and product landscape, you will highlight product gaps and identify growth opportunities in Pakistan, and drive execution of growth initiatives specifically for the country.The ideal candidate is passionate about international market success and has significant experience in product management for consumer products and mobile technology.

Required Skills:

  1. Provide local insights – identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats relevant for Facebook’s success in Pakistan

  2. Explore, identify and execute on strategic growth opportunities

  3. Ensure the Facebook family of apps is fully functional and well adapted to be successful in Pakistan

  4. Partner with the analytics organization to validate key findings with data

  5. Escalate to and drive solutions with product management for identified market-specific product issues and gaps

  6. Design and oversee local execution of a continuous testing plan for important end-to-end flows

  7. Track progress of market specific product improvements and measure impact

  8. Leverage usability studies, research and market analysis to drive market specific product insights into execution

  9. Understand Facebook’s strategic and competitive position in the region and work to improve it

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 6+ years tech product management / development experience

  2. Experienced with product management or product growth at a global scale

  3. Experience working in startups or successful entrepreneurial adventures and working in a global environment highly desired

  4. Extensive knowledge of online and mobile business models and consumer technology

  5. Extensive knowledge of online and mobile business models and consumer technology

  6. Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, highly organized, hands-on

  7. Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  8. Self-driven, comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous environment

  9. Ability to navigate and understand the Pakistan - Fluency in Urdu is required to ensure the best product experience for Urdu-speaking community

  10. BA/BS in Computer Science, engineering or related technical field or equivalent working experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with social products, technologies and platforms is preferred
