Meta Country Director, Singapore in Singapore

Summary:

Meta is looking for the highest caliber executive leader to manage Meta’s growth in Singapore, and to spearhead the company’s strategic relationships with global/local brands, agencies, and partners for Meta’s family of apps. As Country Director, you will lead strategy development and operational execution with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, measurement, and creative. You will need to have a strong understanding of market opportunities, and will create an inspiring vision to set objectives and run day to day operations. You are an exceptional people leader with a proven track record of delivering success in a high performing organization. Additionally, you are motivated, a self-starter with solid interpersonal skills and work ethic, and is passionate about building teams, culture, leadership, and business.This role reports into the VP of South East Asia and will be based in our Singapore office.

Required Skills:

Country Director, Singapore Responsibilities:

  1. Define and drive Singapore’s vision and strategy with short, medium, and long term goals

  2. Establish strong operational rigour to ensure achievement of key objectives and business growth

  3. Represent Meta to form long term strategic partnerships with communities, clients, agencies, government groups, industry groups, and c-level leaders

  4. Lead and inspire the team to achieve results and create a culture of engagement, inclusion, development, and growth for your team and the broader community

  5. Influence and collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to ensure effective go-to-market execution

  6. Act as a thought leader to advocate for, and inspire, both internal and external stakeholders across a wide scope of key industry/market topics

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. General management experience and significant divisional leadership is required, especially managing multiple functions across diverse business areas at scale

  2. 15+ years of leadership experience, including experience in leading regional or global consultative sales & marketing organizations

  3. Demonstrated experience managing complex clients and partnerships effectively

  4. Experience working with government, industry bodies and partners on strategic matters

  5. Experience in successfully leading teams with proven track record of leading experienced leadership teams, growing talent and developing organizational culture, and influencing strategically across cross-functional partners at all levels

  6. Proven track record of managing high-performing sales teams to surpass their targets and grow the scale of business

  7. Demonstrated ability to handle change management and to navigate ambiguity with agility and resilience

  8. Deep market experience in Singapore is required, and South East Asia preferred
