Summary:

We are looking for an experienced marketer to lead Consumer Marketing in the Asia-Pacific Region for the Facebook corporate brand and family of apps, including the Facebook App, WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger. As the Head of Consumer Marketing, you will be responsible for establishing and leading the strategic development and execution of marketing strategy and initiatives that build trust in and value for Facebook’s brands amongst consumers and other key audiences across a variety of channels. You will set our local consumer marketing strategy, representing the voice of the consumer and in our marketing agenda in APAC and will be responsible for building and leading the local marketing team.We are looking for a natural storyteller who possesses sharp strategic and creative instincts honed at the world's best global brands and demonstrated success launching integrated brand marketing campaigns and initiatives, and communicating across the spectrum from mass consumer to niche audiences. S/He is data-driven and will have substantial experience leveraging all proven marketing channels, including significant experience in digital, and know how to influence product teams in consumer tech to think about brand in product. S/He is an inclusive leader and coach, with a proven ability to build and inspire a multi-disciplinary marketing team to do the best work of their careers. To be successful in the role, this person also will need to be a highly effective cross-functional collaborator, working in partnership with the Global Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, Comms, Policy teams to achieve the country’s marketing and business objectives.This is a full-time position based in Singapore.

Required Skills:

  1. Establish, evolve and implement the regions consumer marketing strategy, delivering against corporate and app brand objectives, while ensuring the country team’s goals and priorities ladder up to the global marketing objectives

  2. Provide leadership and coordination for all initiatives engaging audiences, across our brand portfolio, including recommended plan optimizations to maximize impact

  3. Guide the development and execution of breakthrough local integrated marketing campaigns across the portfolio, and ensure plans are aligned with both the global marketing teams as well as regional stakeholders

  4. Influence and collaborate strategically with internal/external, local/global partners, whilst communicating effectively across the organization to ensure transparency, alignment, and advocacy of marketing strategies and plans

  5. Build, lead and nurture a growing team of high performing marketers who deliver undeniable business impact and set a high standard of strategic, creative and executional excellence through coaching and capacity-building

  6. Partner with multi-disciplinary teams, including product teams, to deliver data-driven and culturally relevant marketing programs, integrating branding in product effectively, driving outcomes and results through insights and analytics

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 15+ years of brand marketing experience with consumer technology, tech or similar global/multinational company, with significant knowledge and experience of local market

  2. Strong business acumen, data driven and proven strategic, analytical and creative abilities

  3. Demonstrated experience developing and executing insight-driven integrated marketing campaigns that drove quantitative results at local and/or global levels

  4. Highly collaborative and adept at leading and influencing cross-functional teams effectively, internally as well as external partners and agencies

  5. Experience building and leading teams, characterized by a culture of inclusion and a growth mindset

  6. Experience working internationally on global brands
