The Facebook Global Gaming team’s mission is to build the world’s community to discover, play, watch, and share games. Within the global industry, the greater China region represents one of the most robust gaming ecosystems and the momentum of Chinese gaming companies in the worldwide market is only accelerating forward. Our team’s aspiration is to play an increasingly pivotal role in helping this community of game developers and publishers realize their global ambitions.The Client Partner for Gaming will have a huge opportunity to build partnerships, provide leadership and business insight, and deliver on strategic initiatives to the breadth of high potential gaming companies across China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. With proven understanding of both gaming and digital media, this role will partner across the sales team to establish and strengthen senior-level relationships with a focus on driving revenue, advertiser education and advertiser satisfaction. Success in this position requires passion for gaming, strong consultative sales and analytical skills, a focus on client service, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-focused environment delivering against tight deadlines. This position is based in our Singapore office.

Required Skills:

  1. Set the game product and publishing strategy for global market, building relationship with studio head and game operation head, and deliver impact with a portfolio of high growth gaming developers & publishers

  2. Drive strategic conversion with our senior client stakeholders includes studio head, game operation head to define objective and provide recommendation

  3. Work with external consultant and combine with FB product to establish right solution that address client business needs

  4. Use research and insights to anticipate trends or opportunities and: Help Facebook further develop and evolve our engagement model with client & help clients explore new business opportunity in gaming industry, define right game product strategy for global market, and better method for planning, managing and implementing overall publishing strategy

  5. Be a pillar of knowledge within the team on gaming product strategy and publishing strategy

  6. Better understand about clients and the market trends to make decisions on how to engage and provide the optimal solutions that beyond User Acquisition to the clients

  7. Shape your account strategy and contribute to the overall vertical / regional strategy

  8. Work with local, regional, and global cross functional teams to share, establish and improve best practices and procedures

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of working experience in game product strategic planning, game product management or game publishing

  2. Demonstrate ability to think strategically about complex issues on a macro and micro level, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans

  3. Experience in working for matrix organizations & ability to win the support of key internal cross-functional stakeholder

  4. Strong listening and communication skills to both internal and external stakeholders

  5. Ability to spot trends/patterns and identify business opportunities in a timely manner

  6. Ability to prioritize work and focus on high-priority tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Fluency in Mandarin as the successful candidate will manage accounts and clients whose usual business language is Mandarin

  2. Strong games developer network with extensive connections to top gaming company in Greater China market
