ConvaTec Collections Analyst in Portugal

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact our external customers and follow-up all aged receivables via call, email and using SAP;

  • Properly document the outcome of any contact with the customer in the collections tool to ensure audit trail and customer relations;

  • Reduce payment cycle and to ensure the customers respect the payment terms agreed;

  • Send reminders in accordance with ConvaTec policies and procedures;

  • Work with the Collections Team Lead, to pro-actively manage customer accounts;

  • Respond to general queries from customers regarding payments;

  • Research and verify receipt of payments ;

  • Notify the Collections Team Lead, regarding cash flow problems or unresponsive customers;

  • Participate in review calls as needed.

Skills & Experience:

  • Financial knowledge;

  • Experience in OTC processes (Accounts Receivable, Credit or Customer Service), finance or customer facing role is preferred;

  • Experience in Collections, will be valued;

  • SAP and Excel knowledge, will be valued;

  • Analytical skills;

  • Previous experience working in a GBS environment is preferred.

Qualifications/Education:

  • University Degree preferred (not mandatory);

  • Finance qualification preferred.

Languages:

  • English: Speaking /Writing/Reading - C1/C2;

  • French: Speaking /Writing/Reading - C1/C2;

  • Other Language is a plus.
