The Data Engineer is responsible for navigating a series of infrastructure changes, starting with master data source transitions, API upgrades between systems, and ultimately preparing for a potential CRM-like Healthcare Professional Contracting and Meetings system change requiring various data loads, and preparing for system retirement (data archiving tasks).

What You'll Be Doing:

• Analyse, plan and execute database migration projects (heterogeneous and homogeneous).

• Provide effort estimation and POC for different database migration projects.

• Design migration strategies that optimize performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Develop scripts and tools for migrating data between different databases ensuring data integrity and security.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, system administrators, and project managers to ensure successful migrations.

• Perform testing and validation of migrated data and schema to ensure accuracy and reliability.

• Create documentation including migration plans, technical specifications, and operational procedures.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise during and after migrations.

• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to database management and migration.

What We're Looking For:

• Familiarity with SalesForce (i.e. Mercury is built on SalesForce- this is the primary tool that the candidate would be working with initially) and Cvent (a nice to have)

• Familiarity with CRMs (i.e. much of the data that will be a focus is customer profile data, training records, consent records, sensitive personal information)

• Has worked with master data sources (i.e. purchased customer data, client managed data (such as project lists)

• Has completed data loads with sensitive personal information

• Has experiencing developing test protocols and executing the protocols

• Experience with project management or delivering as part of a global or regional project team

• Experience with troubleshooting and issue resolution

• Working in an ambiguous environment of cross-functional team players doing unchartered work together
