Our Viticulture Graduate Program

Join us as a Viticulture Graduate! This well-established program has produced a number of leaders within TWE and the broader viticulture industry.

During the two-year program, you will gain exposure to diverse geography, scale, and products across Treasury Wine Estates Australian and New Zealand vineyards. Over 3 to 4 placements in different regional vineyard locations and with a combination of formal and hands-on training, your skills and experience will be enhanced.

• Perform vineyard activities following national competency and Company standards

• Application of new technology to drive improvement

• Provide GIS and data analytic support

• Conduct trials and projects under the guidance of site management and regional technical officers

• Co-ordinate and/or supervise the work of vineyard staff concerning trials and project activities as required

• Undertake training and development activities as required

• Demonstrate competence against the agreed development outcomes, assessed during and after each placement

This is a full-time paid program for recent graduates and students graduating in 2023 (and up to two years prior). You will be a permanent employee of TWE, so after the program finishes, you will move into a permanent role.

About You

You are a dedicated individual whose heart beats in the vineyard, possessing an unwavering passion for the great outdoors and a burning desire to forge a prosperous career in the dynamic world of wine. We seek candidates with an unrelenting drive, a collaborative spirit, and a proactive approach, embodying the qualities necessary to thrive in this ever-evolving field.

• Ideally practical experience in vineyards or other agricultural enterprises

• Competent in the use of GIS software including ArcGIS/QGIS (Not essential but desirable)

• Strong analytical skills, including statistical analysis and data science, are highly desirable

Eligibility

• To be eligible for our programs, you must be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or an Australian or New Zealand Permanent Resident at the time of application.

• You can apply for the graduate program when you're in the final year of your degree or if you have completed an Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree within the past two years, at the time of application.

• You’ll need to be available to start with us as a permanent employee in February 2024.
