Job Description

Wesco Global Intelligent Automation COE is looking for an experienced UiPath developer to implement the automation pipeline. As Senior Developer, you will own and perform end to end development from solution design to implementation, user acceptance, and production monitoring. You will also be guiding and assisting citizen developers with design and/or implementation of the more challenging parts of their automations. Additionally, you will be responsible for executing, driving, and owning assignments through all stages of the development lifecycle to completion.

Responsibilities

Works directly with SME, as well as with project managers, and business analysts to translate business requirements and technical specifications to actual automations.

Maintains a culture of open communication, collaboration, mutual respect and productive behaviors.

Writes clean, efficient and well-engineered code.

Identifies risks, barriers, efficiencies and opportunities when thinking through development approach.

Actively leads collaborative efforts through all phases of software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, technical design, coding, testing, and release support.

Leverages relationships with key business IT, QA and other corporate colleagues by communicating and collaborating on cross function initiatives.

Conducts and participates in collaborative technology discussions, and accepts and provides constructive criticism in a professional manner.

Develops technical documentation, such as system context diagrams, design documents and release procedures.

Leads troubleshooting efforts for production issues of all levels and severities, through a hands on approach or through delegation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in eCommerce, eBusiness, information technology or related field preferred.

5 years required, 7 years preferred experience in a development role in an enterprise environment with responsibility for the delivery and support of world class technology solutions.

5 years required, 7 years preferred experience with coding experience in required language, platform, and/or technology.

5 years required, 7 years preferred experience developing solutions using modern tools and practices.

1 year required, 2 years preferred experience developing automations in UiPath. UiPath developer certification is a plus.

Working knowledge and experience with RE framework, Orchestrator, Data Scraping, etc.

Experience with AI/ML tools, document understanding and other technologies as well as experience with low-code and no-code solutions is a plus.

Experience with Microsoft Power Automate is a plus.

Ability to multi-task and reprioritize in a dynamic environment.

Working knowledge with code management systems.

Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Working knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies is a plus.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
