MUFG Risk Reporting Analyst in Mexico

  • Conduct data analysis to produce various report for management, traders, and analysts on a daily and ad-hoc basis utilized in managing the credit portfolio. Reports and further analysis performed to create presentations. Make recommendations for new report creation and the enhancement of current reports and analysis.
  • Oversee various trade support and infrastructure-related tasks including trade processing, data aggregation and analysis, P&L calculations, position reconciliation, credit availability monitoring, etc. Supervise junior team members and review tasks for accuracy.
  • Construct financial models and perform credit analysis for management, traders and analysts related to the credit portfolio and make recommendations related to portfolio manage activities.
  • Manage the front office support activities related to the $5bn CLO portfolio, including TFD funding, secondary monoline wraps, redemptions, deposits, pledging to the Federal Reserve Bank, etc. Regularly liaise with issuer banks and custodians.
  • Serve as primary liaison to facilitate all aspects of trade processing and reporting, including daily interaction with Risk Management, Middle Office, Market Operations Group, and Controllers.
  • Intervene with related departments for exceptional situations including credit/succession/rename events, industry evolution, etc.

  • 5+ years in capital markets or related experience, preferably in either front or middle office processes.

  • Strong interpersonal and PC skills.
