Neuberger Berman Fund Controller in Luxembourg
Overview
Neuberger Berman is looking for a Fund Controller to take responsibility for the fund accounting and operations of a number of Italian and Luxembourg funds, reporting to the Head of Finance Luxembourg.
Responsibilities:
Governance & Control
Oversight of third party vendors (fund administration/depositary/etc)
Ownership of cash and capital management
Ensure all regulatory and statutory financial submissions are completed appropriately and on time
Establish and enhance the processes and procedures, working with the wider finance teams. Operational Accounting
Responsibility for managing the fund operational processes (capital call/distribution/etc) with outsourced providers
Ensure fund financial information is communicated appropriately to the outsourced providers, quarterly valuations, recoverable from funds, etc.
Review of key balance sheet accounts
Preparation of interim and annual financial statements
Production of monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting
Requirements:
Fluent in English and Italian as an advantage
Qualified accountant, fund accounting experience (preferable 8-10 years post qualifications)
Confident, with the ability to deal with multiple internal clients
Highly organized, adherence to internal deadlines and appropriate escalation any issues
Self-starter, able to work independently whilst ensuring engagement with the wider finance team
Advanced excel skills
