MAG UH-60M Instructor Piot - (Lithuania) in Lithuania

Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is hiring for a UH-60M Instructor Piot (IP) to support a contract we are bidding on concerning a US Army’s Security Assistance Training Management Organization (USA-SATMO) training team’s support to the Lithuanian Air Force (LTU AF).

The overall team will be comprised of both Pilots and Maintenance subject matter experts with a tentative timeline for action on this program of mid-May 2025 with multiple option years to follow on.

This is a flying position.

The work location is primarily at Siauliai Airbase , with potential alternate Lithuanian locations.

All Infrastructure concerning living (apartment, cars, flights etc) will be provided by MAG Aerospace and is currently being developed

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to :

  • Serve as the Instructor Pilot for all unit training and UH-60M tactical employment.

  • Conduct readiness level progression, to include gunnery training strategy on LTU AF aviators.

  • Conduct training on Aviation Mission Planning System (AMPS) planning, Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) procedures and AH-64 tactical employment.

  • Provide contractor prepared training for systems academics, simulator support, operations of installed mission equipment, aircraft and team tactical employment and system sustainment under day, night, night systems, enclosed cockpit, simulated instrument and simulated combat conditions.

  • Conduct oral evaluations of all LTU AF in accordance with LTU AF training and proficiency requirements.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Certifications/Qualifications/Experience:

  • Served in US Military

  • Must have 2500 total rotary wing flight experience

  • Must have 500 cumulative UH-60M Instructor Pilot flight hours.

  • Must have experience as an Instructor Pilot (IP) at company level.

Education/Certification:

  • Graduate of a U.S. Army Flight School/Training Course UH-60M Instructor Pilot Course

  • Qualified in the last 4 years – Dunker/Helicopter Emergency Egress Device (HEED)

  • Qualified as an Instrument Examiner

Security Clearance:

  • Secret clearance (able to obtain a secret clearance)

Other Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizen

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Flight Physical / Medical Certificate.

  • Must possess or be capable of obtaining a U.S. Passport.

  • Must possess or be capable of obtaining a Lithuanian Visa.

Must provide proof of the following:

  • Military Service, (DD Form 214).

  • Aircraft Experience and Flight Hours, (DA Form 759, Logbooks).

  • Aircraft Qualification Course Certificate.

  • Instructor Pilot Course Certificate.

  • (Other), Aviation Certificates of Training and Qualifications.

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $200,000 to $300,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
