A Day in the Life

Reporting to the Director or APAC Multichannel Marketing, the Principal Multichannel Marketing Communications Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaign strategies in collaboration with business leaders and across all operating units in Korea. This role is the central communication hub of marketing campaign strategies in Korea and collaborates with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive campaign execution and revenue growth through innovative marketing initiatives. This role entails leading the formulation of campaign strategies, budgets, executions, and ongoing enhancements aimed at enhancing multichannel customer experiences, stimulating revenue growth, and elevating the maturity level of marketing efforts. This is an individual contributor role and will be sitting at the Medtronic office in Seoul .

Having a highly adaptable, collaborative, innovative, strategic, and results-driven mindset with exceptional communication skills and resilience is essential for navigating the diverse landscape and driving impactful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Collaborate with Country/Operating Unit marketing partners to develop and execute marketing campaign plans aligned with key business priorities and objectives.

  • Develop a multichannel approach to marketing efforts across various channels including in-person, print, SEO, digital marketing, social media, design, and email marketing etc.

  • Clearly articulate performance metrics to stakeholders and drive improvements over time.

  • Monitor, iterate, and optimize campaigns across all marketing channels to increase ROI.

  • Manage Country marketing campaign calendars and facilitate governance to ensure smooth orchestration.

  • Collaborate with team members create compelling campaign stories across APAC/Global regions.

Must Have

  • Completed Bachelor's degree qualifications

  • Min 6 years of experience in in a multichannel marketing, or similar functional areas

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with effective written and verbal communication skills in Korean and English

  • Deep understanding of the multichannel marketing mix and ecosystem including print, email, SEO, web, social media, SEM, and paid media etc

  • Strong track record of marketing campaign experience with demonstrated results from past projects.

  • Strong and on-time execution focusses with stakeholders in a dynamic environment with an ability to be agile

  • Demonstrated ability working successfully in a global, complex stakeholder environment

  • Excellent computer literacy including a high level of knowledge MS Office suite of software

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is preferred

  • Industry experience is highly regarded (Healthcare)

  • Proficiency in data analytics/ CRM/ A/B testing/marketing automation platforms is a great plus!

  • Experience to have problem solving via Lean or other innovation methodology
