Job Title: Data Center Technician

Preferred Qualifications

Are you an Engineer who thrives on the full spectrum of cloud data center operations, from racking and stacking to deployment and decommissioning? An Oracle Engineer will be the technical liaison between the technology teams and the Data Centre Environment, with a specific focus on cloud integration and optimization. You can troubleshoot and solve infrastructure issues within a Data Centre environment while working closely with a senior Technician. You are able to install/assist in the installation, configuration, and testing of data centre equipment. You will also be required to perform routine maintenance such as replacing failed components, updating firmware, and cleaning equipment. You will be able to maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, maintenance activities, and maintenance incident reports. you understand which issues should be escalated to the appropriate resolver groups. Your attention to detail is imperative. You own without ego. You know how to innovate and make decisions on your own, but also know how to take direction when it is given. Expected to improve current processes and introduce automation with an aim who has towards simplification.

Key job responsibilities:

The technician is required to provide support for data center build-out , go live readiness and then post-go-live support, as part of a team providing on call support, responsible for all onsite hardware break/fix, networking, cable management, installations and projects etc.

This role involves shift rotations and traveling between the different sites/locations.

데이터센터 구축 및 장비 설치와 고객 상용화 프로젝트를 지원하는 업무를 수행하며, 하드웨어 고장/수리, 네트워크 장비 관리, 케이블 관리 등의 역활을 수행합니다. 또한, 24/7대기, 교대근무를 수행할 수 있어야 하며 사이트 간 이동이 필요합니다.

Ideal candidates will have:

• IT infrastructure experience

• Experience troubleshooting server/network hardware issues

• Working in shift rotations and in the different sites/locations.

• One good plus is having previous experience working in a Data Centre Environment

• Knowledge of Data Centre Ecosystem (cooling, electrical, networking, and structured cabling etc…)

• Business level of reading and written English proficiency
