Shell GKA Local Key Account Manager in Japan
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities related to the sales of lubricants and greases
Achieving quantity and revenue targets for each customer
You will be responsible for sales to our key direct customers in the automotive, construction machinery, and steel industries. Many of these customers have operations not only domestically but also globally. You will work with Shell representatives in various countries and global teams to maximize domestic business.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher (general knowledge in science required; currently, chemistry is common but not a mandatory requirement)
Knowledge in mechanical/chemical fields (automotive/construction machinery)
Practical experience in technical sales at a manufacturer, or practical experience in research/engineering with an interest in and motivation for a sales role
Native-level Japanese, Business-level English skills are a plus
Desired Characteristics:
Ability to immediately contribute as a key player in the lubricant business
Ability to take ownership of changes and events around them, set tasks autonomously, take action, and achieve results
