Customer facing staff responsible for winning business Owns/influences commercial business operating guidelines and has ownership/influence over budgets. Guided by functional policy. There is autonomy within the role to enter into/execute Commercial arrangements. High levels of Commercial judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.

Job Description

What you’ll do;

  • Selling New Power Generation Projects & products to named account(s) for Eastern Mediterranean countries (Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Palestinian Authority). Addition of a new customer is typically rare and usually subject to review process. Include key accounts within a single business group/ P&L

  • Developing commercial expertise across All countries (mainly Iraq, Jordan Lebanon & Palestinian Authority), product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups. work on policy and ensures delivery across large and/or diverse sales territories.

  • Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services. Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.

  • Leads others to find creative solutions to address complex projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.

  • May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates complex messages and negotiates mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view. Influences peers to take actions and may negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications);

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

  • Significant leadership experience in Power Generation sales, business development and sales strategy.

  • Deep understanding of the Energy/Utility landscape.

  • Proven track record of sales success and building out new markets/customer.

  • Flexibility to travel up to 50-60% to follow up with customers.

  • For non-Iraq based applicant; Travel to Iraq is a must.

  • Extensive track record of sales success in projects & commercial and building out new markets/customer

What will make you stand out;

  • MBA certificate

  • Electrical / Mechanical Engineering degree preferred or related field.

  • Fluency in Arabic and English Language.
