This is what you will do:
Th e Senior Director, Central Quality Business Operations ensures efficient and effective conduct of business and GxP service operations in the Alexon Central Quality Systems and Compliance (CQSC) team. The Senior Director, Central Quality Business Operations is a member of the CQSC Leadership team and works closely with this team to ensure strategic and operational alignment both within the function and with Alexion RDU and Astra Zeneca partners.
This Senior Director, Central Quality Business Operations leads proactive business planning and financial management within CQSC, and ensures CQSC services are delivered in alignment with Alexion RDU operational requirements. They are responsible for overseeing CQSC change management and communications.
You will be responsible for:
Managing and overseeing the main business processes of the CQSC team, including but not limited to budgeting, finance forecasting, resourcing and communications
Facilitating CQSC business strategic planning activities ensuring alignment with Alexion RDU deliverables and organizational strategies
Leading CQSC operational reviews assuring proper staffing and budget adherence
Ensuring CQSC conducts efficient and effective GxP service operations and identifying and executing against opportunities for improvement
Monitoring CQSC business process and service performance against performance milestones and KPIs.
Developing narratives and materials for key routine and ad hoc CQSC business presentations
Overseeing CQSC change management activites and ensuring communication of same to internal and external stakeholders
Hire, coach, and support the growth and development of direct reports allowing for career progression and succession planning.
You will need to have:
A university degree
Minimum 15 years’ experience in GxP or similar regulated environment and 5 years in people manager roles
Strong working knowledge of global regulatory and GxP requirements
Prior experience in business operations/management activities
Project management skills with proven track record in delivery against organizational objectives
Adept at financial and resource modeling
Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving and negotitation skills
Strong decision making and accountability
Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to present to various audience levels
Able to travel up to 10% of the time
We would prefer for you to have:
A graduate degree in management, business administration or finance
